I'm Gary.
Sites by Gary is exactly what it sounds like: websites, made by Gary Patchcott. No agency, no hand-offs, no "your account manager will be in touch". When you hire me, the person you talk to is the person doing the work.
I've spent years in design - you might know my graphics channel - and I build websites the same way: carefully, quickly, and with an unreasonable attention to the small stuff.

How can you be so much faster than an agency?
Because there's no agency. No meetings about meetings, no juniors learning on your budget, no six-week "discovery phase". One experienced person, modern tools, and a process that's been sharpened to remove everything that wastes your time.
What do you need from me?
About an hour of your time up front - a chat about your business - plus your logo and any photos you have. If you don't have those, I can help with both. I'll handle everything else, including the words.
Do I own the website?
Yes - completely. The site, the domain and the content are yours. If you ever want to move it elsewhere, I'll hand everything over and wish you well. No hostage-taking.
What happens after launch?
Most clients take the £39/month Care Plan: I host it, back it up, keep it secure and make small changes when you need them. Prefer to handle it yourself? That's fine too - I'll set you up and hand over the keys.
